The Journal of Communication and Computational Media (JCCM) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Maharishi Bhardwaj Research Foundation. It provides a scholarly forum for original research at the intersection of communication studies and computational media.

Aims & Scope

JCCM publishes rigorous empirical, theoretical, and methodological work on how computation is transforming communication — from algorithmic media and generative AI to computational social science, digital journalism, and platform governance. We especially welcome research that centres the Global South and multilingual contexts.

Peer Review

All research submissions undergo double-blind peer review. Manuscripts are first screened by the editorial team and then sent to at least two independent expert reviewers.

Open Access & Licensing

All articles are published open access under a CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license. Submission and peer review are free. A publication fee of ₹200 applies only to accepted articles, payable at the time of publication via QR code. After payment, authors email the payment screenshot to the editorial office, and the article is published once the payment is verified.
