Abstract
In India, cervical cancer is still a very preventable but common health issue among women, particularly in rural and semi-urban areas. This study looks at how the media may spread knowledge about cervical cancer and assesses how satisfied the public is with that knowledge. Using a survey-based methodology, data is gathered for the current study from a variety of sociodemographic groups across Rajasthan, including differences in profession. This study assesses the level of awareness of cervical cancer prevention across various occupational groups. Furthermore, the goal of this study is to solicit feedback on the acceptability and efficacy of public health communication approaches for cervical cancer. The study also looks at how media might raise awareness about cervical cancer in various occupational communities. Research shows significant disparities in media awareness and trust, emphasizing the need for more focused and inclusive health communication campaigns. The paper concludes with recommendations for improving media-driven awareness campaigns to address the knowledge gap and promote early detection and prevention of cervical cancer.
